So I worked in customer service for 3 years and not until today did I experience very good customer service. Not to say that I wasn't a good rep and people were happy with the service that I provided, but the people that helped Sam and I today made me think I could've done a lot better.
The story begins at Trudy's Bridal in Campbell. I have the honor of being in a friend's wedding in June and she's allowed us to pick our own dresses. Pretty neat idea, but looking for a dress is not an easy task, that is, not until today. The woman who helped me went through the list of dresses I brought in and found every one that was in the store, totaling 10 dresses!! She also made one suggestion based one what she thought would look good on me. I tried on all 10 dresses and she stood there with clips in tow and made honest, helpful comments. Finally, I tried on the one she suggested and it was the diamond in the rough (well the other dresses weren't really rough, but this one was pretty nice). So not only did she suggest a great dress, but she topped it off with a 10% discount. So far, happy day, not to mention the weather was beautiful today!
Ok, on to the next quality customer service moment. So for the last couple of months, and not to mention the rainiest couple of months, our garage door opener has been broken. When we leave in the morning one person has to wait outside until the car is out of the garage, push the garage button, and run out before the garage door knocks us in the head. So not only have we been putting our lives in danger , but we've gotten soaked on occasions trying to get into to the car (ok, I may be exaggerating a bit, but it makes the read more interesting ). So anyway, today, we set out looking for a new garage door opener. First stop, Home Depot. That place is overwhelming and there is a never a helpful hand in site. I have to say, I despise this place. So of course, we don't find a garage door opener we can use and head out to OSH. As soon as we walk in the door (and I'm not exaggerating here) a person asks "How can I help you". So Sam explains what we're looking for and the man walks us to the aisle where the garage door openers are located, all the while, asking us questions to zone in on exactly what we need. In less than 5 minutes, we've received a garage door opener from the shelf, paid for it, and are driving home. Best experience EVER!!
I just wanted to share, today was a good day for customer service! Anyone else have a good story? Share

| Covered by your love divine
Child of the risen Lord
To hear you say "This one's mine"
My heart is spoken for...
Now I have a peace
I've never known before
I find myself complete
My heart is spoken for

I know this is an old song (well not recent) but I absolutely love it! Gets me every time.
